Water Falls Down
Fleeing from hospital security, police, and missing child alerts, the three teens make their way South across the California Valley. Negotiating a gauntlet of predatory adults, fierce elements, and their own mental illness, they find their way to Yosemite National Park.
They hideout, and embrace the new found freedom, far away from the locked down facility, critical parents, and social rules. Blending in with the tourists and nature, new challenges introduce themselves as Lynn,Chelsea, and Garret innovate new ways to survive, function, and coexist.
Deep in a vivid abyss of sadness, choices become unclear and even the smallest mistake may turn Lynn's world upside down. Can she trust those who are considered crazy? Or are they all heading for an impeding disaster?

I love Water Falls Down. Three teens who aren't your typical leading characters, escape from a mental hospital and hideout in a national park. They build a fort, have drama, relationships develop among the main characters, and shady activity takes place in the woods. Depression, heart break, and teenage angst are the main themes in this story. This is book one in the series, and I'm looking forward to reading the second book.
Weaving webs for hungry spiders.

Spelling errors everywhere, terrible cliff hanger, grammar errors throughout the book, towards the middle and end the book got really boring and pointless. I found myself thinking "where is this book going?" I really didn't enjoy this. The beginning was great but afterwards everything went downhill. I feel like this book was written by a 13 year old and with so many grammar errors and misspellings it makes me wonder how this book even got published.
I enjoyed this book for the most part. It showed that people are not their mental illness, that mental illness is just a part of them. It was interesting to see how the characters survived, sometimes because of the way their illness made them act. I also liked the idea that came through at times that our society tends to cause or create mental illness when people don't conform to the masses. I thought the characters were well developed and interesting. What I didn't like was learning at the end
Lynn is a teenager, locked in a pysch ward due to issues she is having with depression and cutting. She feels fairly safe there, but disconnected from life and any type of reality. She decides to go along with her friends and make a break one night. They succeed, but are out with no money, very little possessions and are determined to remain in hiding. The three decide they should head to Yosemite based on Lynn's recommendation. The story follows the three along various situations on their way.
